The Hunger Games!

This week we started reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.  After reading the first few chapters, we decided to take a closer look at how the author introduces each of the main characters.  The students worked in groups to focus on one of the characters.  Then we used a very fun website, www.tagxedo.com and www.wordle.net to create word clouds and presented them to the class.  The students all did a fabulous jobs analyzing how Suzanna Collins introduced the main characters.  Below are some of the word clouds the students created.
